  • Capsuleaccom does not have onsite parking, however there are several public parking options nearby.

    Australia Fair — around 5–10 mins walk away, offering up to 3 hours free parking with paid rates after that.

    Athol Paterson Carpark — nearby public car park with hourly and all-day parking available.

    Mal Burke Carpark — short walk from the hostel with 24-hour access.

    Cloyne Road Parking — public parking option nearby with longer stay availability.

    Wilson Parking - Gold Coast Institute of TAFE - Southport Campus Car Park — around $2.50 hourly or approximately $10 daily parking.

    Marshall Lane Southport Parking | PriPark — approximately $8 daily parking.

    Street parking is also available around Southport depending on availability and local time limits. Please always check signage before leaving your vehicle

  • Absolutely — many of our guests are female solo travellers, including backpackers, WHV travellers and students. We aim to create a relaxed, social and respectful environment where guests feel comfortable staying both short and long term.

    Our reception is staffed 24/7, we have female staff members available to assist with personal matters, and our female manager is always available for any serious concerns or support requests, even when offsite via phone call if needed. Guest safety and comfort are something we take seriously.

  • Absolutely. Capsuleaccom is popular with students thanks to its affordable accommodation, social atmosphere and easy tram access to Griffith University Gold Coast campus. We have many guests who stay with us long term commuting to Brisbane University. We also have guests who stay with us a few days a week for study at TAFE!

  • Yes — luggage storage is available for guests before check-in and after check-out.

  • Yes — the hostel is fully air conditioned for guest comfort year-round.

  • Our private rooms are in the main dorm, they are sectioned off and have a lockable door for your own personal hideaway. They feature a single bunk bed and there is a mirror on the door too. These rooms do not have a ceilings which encourage air flow within the room.
